Weber replacement tank for process line

When thinking about maintenance of chemical plants, the lifetime and condition of the plant are decisive factors. Aggressive chemicals in the process plant can lead to dangerous situations in case of missing maintenance.

In connection with a maintenance project in Denmark, we and Weber Kunststofftechnik GmbH were asked for an offer for a replacement tank for an anodizing plant.

A rectangular tank should be used, standing indoors on the ground. The tank, meant for a ≤ 20% sulfuric acid solution, should have a flat bottom and an open top. Since the solution was to replace an existing tank, dimensions and fittings were set in advance.

The tank was made in 20 mm PP-H plates reinforced with galvanized steel beams and delivered and installed in the plant within the agreed timeframe.
