EC 1935/2004 and FDA certified pumps and batch control systems
IWAKI Nordic A/S offers both EC1935/2004 and FDA-certified pumps from amongst other IWAKI and the market leading American manufacturer of drum pumps, Standard Pump. The FDA-certified pumps are mag-drive centrifugal pumps, drum pumps and air-operated-double-diaphragm pumps (AODD).
Further, we offer plastic tanks and technical solutions in FDA and EU 10/2011 approved plastic materials for the pharmaceutical and food industries.

Among IWAKI’s many mag-drive centrifugal pumps the MDM pumps are both EC 1935/2004 and FDA approved. The pumps can deliver up to 1,400 l / min. The drum pumps manage viscosities up to 100,000 mPa•s while the air-operated-diaphragm pumps handle particle sizes up to 15.9mm. The pumps are suitable for both food, pharmaceutical ingredients and cosmetic products. For control use our batch control systems.
Mag-drive centrifugal pumps – MDM-series
All pump sizes (MDM-25, MDM-32, MDM-40 and MDM-50) in the MDM-series are EC 1935/2004 approved with wet-end parts in PFA, PTFE and SiC and FDA-approved with wet-end parts in PFA and SiC.

In order to facilitate inspection and maintenance the MDM-series offers the back pullout system, which enables one to conduct inspections internally and replace parts without removing piping. Get more information (PDF)
Motor driven metering pumps – LK Series
IWAKI’s LK-F4-S6, LK-F5-S6 and LK-A5-S6 dosing pumps can be used in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The elastomers of the pumps are approved according to EC1935 / 2004.
The pump itself is in SUS316, diaphragm and gaskets in PTFE.

Drum pumps – centrifugal
The centrifugal drum pumps are suitable for dairy products, juices, beer, wine, concentrates and fragrances for cosmetic products. The pumps are available in different lengths for different containers including drums and pallet tanks.

The drum pumps are portable and easy to clean.
Drum pumps – progressive cavity
The progressive cavity pumps are designed to pump viscous foods, pharmaceutical ingredients and cosmetic lotions from various containers including drums and pallet tanks.

• Viscosity: max 100.000 mPas
• Motors: electrical or air
The pumps provide optimal product transport in a continuous, smooth and gently flow. The pumps are also easy to clean.
Air-operated-double-diaphragm pumps – sanitary
Our sanitary AODD pumps are an ideal solution for transport tasks in food processing and pharmaceutical applications. The pumps are manufactured in highly polished SS316. These pumps are available in 1½ “and 2” models.

• Particle size: max 15,9mm
• Pressure: max 6,9 bar
The pumps can be delivered with either PTFE or santoprene diaphragms.
Batch control systems
The sanitary batch control systems are designed for dosing and filling tasks from various containers including drums and pallet tanks. The range offers “Ultra Mass BCS device” for preset dosing of primarily “nonconductive” media and alternatively a “Full Bore Magmeter” for flow and volume control of conductive media.

The batch control systems are placed on the outlet pipe and are easy to use.
